What is Emotional Freedom Technique?

Are you lying anxiously awake at night, worried about the future?

Do you need a medical intervention which is worrying you, that you'd like to approach with confidence?

Are you feeling stressed out or having emotional reactions that are making a relationship difficult?

Do you have fears or traumatic memories that interfere with your ability to do what you wish to do?

Do you have chronic pain or other illness that has not responded to medical treatment?

Do you face a business, creative, or sports challenge where you want to shine?

EFT is a gentle but powerful universal healing technique that works quickly to clear stress caused by present or past emotional upsets, or by future challenges. It often clears pain, and used persistently over time it has reversed chronic illness. The basic formula is easy to learn, and you can treat many conditions, such as unwanted immediate emotions like anxiety or anger, by yourself.

EFT works on:

  • Traumatic memories from abuse, accidents, PTSD, experiences of betrayal or loss.
  • Obsessions, anxiety, fear, anger, irritation, guilt, shame, self-attack or self-devaluation, loneliness.
  • Resistance, procrastination, disorder, perfectionism, food cravings, addictions.
  • Core beliefs - those unconscious beliefs, often inherited, that control our thoughts and behavior and prevent us from seeing all our options.
  • Any kind of phobia: heights, open spaces, bridges, flying, snakes, spiders, public speaking.
  • A large array of physical symptoms, from pain to chronic disease.

Developed by Stanford-trained Engineer Gary Craig, EFT is a powerful new discovery that combines two well-established sciences so you can benefit from both at the same time:

1. Mind Body Medicine
2. Acupuncture (without needles).

In essence, EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture where we stimulate certain acupuncture meridian points by tapping on them with our fingertips. This addresses imbalances in the electical energy system of the body which are caused by emotional and physical trauma. Properly done, this frequently reduces the therapeutic process from months or years down to hours or minutes. And, since emotional stress has been proven to contribute to pain, disease and physical ailments, we often find that EFT provides astonishing physical relief.

Used as a last resort, EFT works where many other methods have failed. Used immediately on both emotional and physical upsets, it can prevent symptoms from developing. Too good to be true? Try it and see!

"Over the last few decades, scientists have developed more than adequate measurable and logical connections between biological energy fields and generally accepted scientific knowledge. Methods have been developed to measure subtle but important energy fields within and around the human body. A few decades ago these fields were considered nonexistent by academic medicine. Not only are we documenting the presence of such fields, but researchers are understanding how fields are generated and how they are altered by disease and disorder. We are also beginning to understand the biophysical mechanisms that enable the discerning therapist to sense and manipulate energy fields for the benefit of the patient."
--James L Oschman, Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis, p1.

EFT is extraordinarily effective for PTSD.

I have always had difficulties with public speaking. I had a particularly threatening and important talk to give. In similar situations I have had memory lapses, brain fog, and stammered when I had to respond to questions. Following a trail of resistance and fears, Lisa helped me root out and overcome the bugaboos that have been interfering with my ability to make a cogent and confident public presentation. I was relieved and satisfied with the results. I did myself proud. I am sold on EFT. Lisa's skill and empathy demonstrated to me how powerful a tool it can be.
